Did you know that Karate training is considered a Physical Activity. Yeah. I bet you guessed that part. Well here are a couple things to look into.
Most all private schools and higher education institutions will require a student participate in a organized ( taught by a instructor) physical activity as a replacement, or to meet the requirements of physical education (gym class). Why not karate? We have in the past had a student that substituted Gym class at a private school with Karate training.
Most health insurance plans offer what they call fitness reimbursement. That's right. They will pay for or contribute a percentage towards fee's and dues. Here is a good example. This is taken from the Fallon website.
Members can choose to be reimbursed for a child's school sport user fees, or registration in town or school sports leagues and camps.
